I don't love you
1.Theres some theories that this song is about Bert McCracken.
Im not sure myself, but some of it seems to fit.
2.This is quite an interesting song! Its kindof like a crooning country ballad, but rockier.
I think that this song is about someone who doesnt see their lover for a long time, and when they see them again, they still love them, but they can sense something different in their eyes. The person knows that the lover doesnt love them back, but because the lover wont say it, he cant get closure.
3. To me this song is about someone he fell in love with deeply but had to leave her but still keeps in touch, he said he'd stay and love forever but she wasnt sure so delayed it for too long while he was in pain from no love in return. he gave her his feeling nd all she did was give him a hard time, he gave his life(blood) to heal that person with his own time(money). this girls probably big headed so she shud be kept down, coz wen shes down, she remembers him and feels guilt. deep down she does love him and he loves her too but when its time to leave after being around each other so long and pretending to be friends. living the truthe in the past nd living a lie today, really hes teasing that person coz they both kno the truth thats y a tear drop falls from her eye at the end
4. Did anyone know that Gerard sang this song on the Life on the Murder Scene dvd? It's all the way at the end during "The Future" segment and Ray was playing guitar and Gerard was singing. I noticed because I started to sing along with him and I said to myself that I know this song and I realized it was "I Don't Love You"
Cancer
1. I love this song but it always manages to make me cry. It's really emotional and I'm glad they have done a song like this, different sort of from the rest. Amazing!
And I don't think anybody could say they have have heard the tune before, I think it's autentic and not re-used. But that's my opinion.
2. "and cutting down the days to go
its just a failure
and I hope you know
that if you say
goodbye tonight
I ask you to be true "
This is the familiar part.
3. I absolutely love this song. For so long I had claimed Prison as my favorite song. Heh. But I think that Cancer has taken that role now. I first heard it at the Hammersmith gig. Lots of people were crying, myself included, and my mum had to step outside, heh. So, it is such an emotional song, and it's a hundred times more emotional when you hear it live, I think. My grandpa recently died from cancer, so this song means so much to me. It hurts every time to listen to it because I'm definitely not over his death. But even though it's painful to think about, this song is so brutally honest that it's just the kind of song I need. |
